1. Manuscript Preparation & Formatting
All papers must be prepared using the official NEXT-D-conference-template-2026.
- Format: Manuscripts must be prepared on A4-size pages. If you are currently using US Letter, you must switch to the A4 template.
- Length: The minimum paper length is six (6) pages, and the maximum limit is eight (8) pages. Authors may extend to 10 pages for an additional fee of USD 25 per page beyond the eighth.
- Workflow: Write and save your content as a separate text file before importing it into the template to maintain style integrity.
- Authorship: List names from left to right, then moving down. Do not group authors by affiliation or list them in columns.
- Integrity: Do not alter margins, column widths, or line spacing. Do not add pagination or manually number text heads.
2. Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts undergo a single-blind peer review.
- Model: Reviewers know the authors’ identities, but authors do not know the reviewers’ identities.
- Criteria: Papers are evaluated based on originality, technical quality, methodological rigor, clarity, and relevance to the conference scope.
- Decision: The Technical Program Committee makes final decisions (acceptance, revision, or rejection) based on reviewer recommendations.
3. Technical Content & Style
- Abstract & Title: Critical: Do not use symbols, special characters, footnotes, or math in the title or abstract.
- Units: Use SI (MKS) or CGS units. Do not mix complete spellings and abbreviations (e.g., use “webers per square meter” or “Wb/m²”).
- Equations: Use only Times New Roman or Symbol fonts. Number equations consecutively in parentheses, positioned flush right.
- Figures & Tables: Place these at the top or bottom of columns, avoiding the middle. Figure captions must be below the figures; table heads must be above the tables. Use 8-point Times New Roman for figure labels.
4. Submission Process
- Platform: Submissions are handled via the EDAS Platform. Login with an existing account or register at the EDAS Registration Page.
- Similarity Check: Aim for a similarity score of less than 30%. Carefully cite all sources to ensure originality.
- Language: English is the working language. Papers may be rejected if the quality of English is deemed unacceptable.
5. PDF Requirements (Camera-Ready)
Final papers must be converted to PDF:
- Conference ID: 65724x
- Font Embedding: All fonts must be EMBEDDED and SUBSETTED. This ensures mathematics appear as intended and facilitates text searching.
- Security: The PDF must not have passwords, security settings, bookmarks, or links.
- Cleanliness: The file must not contain crop marks, registration marks, or timestamps.
6. Presentation & Video Guidelines
NEXT-D 2026 is a hybrid event. All contributors must provide a 5-minute pre-recorded video.
- Technical Specs: Use HD format (1280 x 720 or 720p) in MP4 format. The file size must not exceed 500 MB.
- Visuals: Use simple fonts (Arial, Calibri) at size 30+. Avoid high-resolution photos or embedded videos within slides.
- Recording Tools: We recommend using Zoom (Local Recording), though WebEx, Google Meet, Teams, or OBS are also acceptable.
- Submission: Review your video and upload it to s.id/FormRecordingICCIT2026.
- Naming Convention: Save the file as NEXTD_PaperID_LastName.mp4 (e.g., NEXTD_08_Apriliasari).
7. Live Participation & Policy
- Attendance: You must be available for your scheduled live presentation and the subsequent Q&A session with chairs and attendees.
- Registration: To be eligible for the book of abstracts, at least one author must register and present the paper.
- No-Show Policy: Papers not presented at the conference may be excluded from the final publication and removed from distribution.
